Gerard and I had a fantastic time doing this show. We’re very glad that we could assist with raising funds for the Upper Hutt Seido Karate dojo. The Upper Hutt Cossie Club was a fantastic place to perform. With the brilliant organisation of the Seido Karate people, and the supportive people at the Cossie Club we could not have asked for better.
This was supposed to be an exploration to view all the flocks of birds that come here. But instead we got to see some urban scenery and a relaxed sunset.
What was intended on being an exploration to find the remnants of a ship-wreck turned into a navigational mishap. But this did not stop us from collecting some images of what we found. I now know where to go for that ship-wreck next time.
This was initially a trip to Glendhu, but with the road missing due to repairs I headed to Pahaoa Station. The beach there is very wild, which makes for some dramatic images, the pancake rocks help too.
